Valley Shoe Repair is owned and operated by Birdie Berumen and Caileen Brandt and supported by our star apprentice, Jamie Hafler. 

We continue a long tradition of shoe repair in the high desert that started with Del's Shoe Repair. After apprenticing with Del for several years, Birdie bought the shop and rebranded in 2019.

We combine this history and craft with customer service shaped by kindness and integrity. Our love of design and fashion influence our approach to each repair. We understand that details matter and communication is crucial for repair projects to be completed correctly in a timely manner. 

Everything is connected, everything is political, and the choices we make in our business impact our community, country, and planet. Repairing instead of buying new sends a radical message to the capitalist powers that rule our lives. Keeping money inside our local economies is what we ask of you and expect of ourselves.
