Birdie was reluctant to bring Birkenstocks into his life... But a slip on clog with sturdy support was a gap he became willing to fill as we moved into winter of 2024. These feature the following:
- New Birkenstock deconstructed and outfitted with
- Leather sole
- Leather glue on welt
- Full-grain leather covering the exposed cork bed at the heel
- Custom full-grain leather strap and rivets
- Turquoise toe bug
- The footbed is lined with thin suede
To get this work done on your Birks would cost around $400.

This apron was used for close to a decade. It lives in retirement now, as it needs many repairs and Birdie wants to redesign it anyway. There will be another in the making at some point.
