You're driving up from highway 10, on the 62. You crest down into Morongo Valley first. (***You can hit these spots up on your way back to the 10 freeway/out of town instead of popping to different sides of the road).

1. ***Look to your left next to the first couple gas stations and you'll find a long-time local staple, Coyote Cone, for ice cream, coffee, shakes, and more!
2. ***Next is Hippie Chicken where you can find everything from the latest adorable animals up for adoption like kittens, piglets, or bantam roosters, to vintage clothing and local CBD balms! There's a couple shop cats and a bantam hen who is often tending to new chicks, that are all super friendly. 
3. On your right as you're getting further along, is Cactus Mart! Here you'll get to cruise the cactus gardens, plant nursery, see all kinds of native plants, shop cats, and local crafts, gifts, and things! 
4. *** Black Luck Vintage (@blackluckvintage) is hard to miss on your left after Cactus Mart! It's got gloriously delicious mural work all over by Bunnie Reiss and old-timey signs you'll recognize all over our desert businesses by Derek Mcdonald of Golden West Sign Arts. Black Luck has the BEST quirky vintage pieces, from small items to lamps and furniture. They carry a great vintage clothing selection with diverse sizes and a great assortment of boots and shoes with life left to live! Rachel refurbishes many items in the shop, from jewelry to her famous lighting fixtures. 

Now you've made it to Yucca Valley.

1. There's weed on the right at the first light. Sold exclusively by Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians, Red Falcon Dispensary. 
2. Park in Old Town Yucca Valley (around Pioneer Town Road), there's an EV charging station with public restrooms and other public parking. Unfortunately (THANKS CALTRANS) there's only ONE crosswalk. Try to use it. Dangerous road... 
3. FOODS:
   1. Luna Bakery for a good drip coffee, loaves of bread, lunchy bakery items, flakey pastries, etc. 
   2. All Roads Desert Market for drinks and "shnacks", plus stunning hand-made-design-centered aesthetic of eclectic gifts, vintage, small DIY in-shop crafts, camping and airbb necessities, locally made skin care... It's just the best. Gotta be honest.
   3. The Ginger Rabbit is our only Asian food market!! They have wonderful camping food options, but also fresh produce and tons of seasonings and snacks to enhance your trip! 
4. VINTAGE:
   1. You're at a wonderful spot to start your vintage shopping adventure. Just wander around and you'll find great places on either side of the street in the 'old town' area. 
   2. ***Desert's Edge is a spot just to the East of the old town zone. It's going to be on your left, a little red barn! They are a wonderful staple in our vintage community up here, with western wear and a bunch of other fun pieces outside of that genre.
